Xscape Pod was built with the casual backpacker in mind. We know that gear is expensive, space is limited, and not everyone is a trained outdoor survivalist. That is why we set out on this mission to remove the barriers that keep people from backpacking and created Xscape Pods.

Insurance

Insurance is offered for $10 per trip. It’s a small price for peace of mind during your adventure. If insurance is not chosen, any gear lost or damaged beyond repair will be charged to your card. Replacement or purchase costs for each piece of equipment can be found under each Pod lid.

Backcountry Fuel (for pick up/local delivery only)

One Canister of ISPPRO fuel compatible with MSR Pocket Rocket camp stove. MSR IsoPro Canister Fuel is a performance-boosting, 80/20 blend of isobutane and propane, with the purest isobutane (5% or less n-butane) of any canister fuel. This clean-burning formulation maintains higher internal pressure at lower temperatures than standard butane/propane mixtures, delivering superior cold weather performance and more consistent output over the life of the canister.

Equipment is inspected by hand, cleaned, and repacked between each trip. Special attention is paid to cookware and sleeping bags. All mess kits and utensils are run through a dishwasher, and sleeping bags are sanitized.

Shipping Policy

Shipping is your preferred method then your pod will arrive via FedEx.

Upon your return, either put the pod in the same box you received it and affix the return shipping label and return to a FedEx drop off, or we’ll pick up your pod if local delivery was your method.
